Now more than ever, philanthropy has the potential to drive life-changing research dedicated to finding solutions to the greatest social, health and environmental issues of our time. Your generosity bolsters student support services and scholarships; expands a growing hub for local artists, vibrant cultural events, and exhilarating athletic competition; and advances lifesaving discoveries in science, medicine and engineering.
The Triton True recognition program honors the dedicated individuals who have made gifts to UC San Diego in the last three or more consecutive fiscal years.
Triton True donors are some of our most committed partners, channeling their passions through annual gifts that enhance the campus experience and enable scholars and researchers to achieve critical breakthroughs in pursuit of a better world. By designating contributions to specific student scholarships, academic schools, health care programs, or campus initiatives, many Triton True donors enjoy witnessing the impact of their generosity year after year and developing a personal connection with the people and projects they support.
As a Triton True donor, you will receive an annual letter in the fall confirming your new or continuing Triton True status — and the total number of consecutive years in which you have made gifts to UC San Diego. You will also receive a sticker recognizing your participation tier, so you can proudly display your loyal support for UC San Diego.
