Young Alumni

Chancellor's Associates Young Alumni (CAYA) are young UC San Diego alumni engaged with the university through philanthropic support at annual leadership gift levels.

CAYA donors receive the same donor courtesies and services as other Chancellor's Associates donors, including invitations to all Chancellor's Associates events plus exclusive access to select campus and regional events. CAYA donors also enjoy additional networking opportunities at private Young Alumni events.

The CAYA program offers three levels of support for young alumni.

Senior Class Gift/CAYA
Any senior who donates $350 or more will automatically become a CAYA upon graduation. This gift will be split; $200 of the gift will go directly towards the Senior Class Gift endowment for scholarships, and the remaining $150 is non-tax deductible and will cover the exclusive privileges of being a Chancellor's Associate. All CAYA/Senior Class Gift gifts must be received by June 30th, 2008 to receive recognition and privileges.

Whether you're a recent graduate or facing your 10-year class reunion, it's never too soon, or too late, to start giving back to the university which gave you so much.

Please consider becoming a CAYA donor by making a gift today. For more information or questions, please contact Dawn Bruckel at (858) 534-2178 or dbruckel@ucsd.edu.
