Brittaney Khong, a 2013 graduate of UC San Diego, is promising to climb a mountain if she meets her goal of raising $1,000 for undergraduate scholarships. Brittany is one of many—including celebrities like Jamie Foxx—to make a promise for education.
More than 2,500 alumni, faculty, staff, students and community members raised more than $300,000 for student scholarships as part of the Triton 5K. Established in 1996, the Triton 5K has raised more than $3.3 million benefitting more than 900 UC San Diego students.
The UC San Diego Hispanic Scholarship Council hosted its 16th annual Fiesta de las Estrellas to raise scholarship funds for outstanding students from all backgrounds.
