Why should I give to UC San Diego?

Because UC San Diego only receives a fraction of its total annual budget from state funding—just 9 percent—philanthropic contributions are critical to the university’s continued success. This campus depends on private support so that it can remain an economic and research powerhouse that shapes minds, changes lives and launches industries. Please visit Why Give to learn more.
