Donor Profiles - Stephanie Ursy

Stephanie Ursy, a third year Sociology and Political Science major, has started her own tradition of giving back. She is active in the UCSD Student Foundation, holds a position as a Leadership Consultant at the Center for Student Involvement and is an Alumni Discovery Initiative Ambassador.

Stephanie dedicates her time to community service and impact. She is the co-chair of the 8th annual UCSD Cares Week, an event that celebrates the university’s impact through service and philanthropy. Because of her participation with the Student Foundation, Stephanie has realized the importance of giving back to the community.

“Participating in the Student Foundation’s Development Committee has allowed me to contribute back to the campus in ways that highlight my passion for people and getting them involved,” she said.

In the future, Stephanie hopes to have a career in conference management or personal development as a result of skills she developed through her involvement at UC San Diego.
