UC San Diego acknowledges the support of our generous friends in many ways, including the following donor recognition programs. By setting a notable example through their philanthropy, these friends enable the university to confidently pursue research, provide accessible healthcare, spark innovative ideas and educate tomorrow's leaders.

$1,000,000+

Chancellor’s Laureates
With leadership giving of $1 million or more, our Laureates’ generous commitments have allowed the university to take significant strides while boldly setting new milestones.



$100,000+

University Benefactors
Individuals with cumulative lifetime giving of $100,000-$999,999 significantly help UC San Diego expand the vision for our campus.



$1,500+

Chancellor’s Associates
Chancellor’s Associates donors provide $1,500 or more in unrestricted leadership gifts each year, allowing the Chancellor flexibility to fund the university’s greatest needs.

Friends of Social Sciences
A community of donors who make annual leadership gifts of $1,500 or more to the Dean’s Innovation Fund.



$1,000+

E.W. Scripps Associates
Members provide $1,000 or more in unrestricted funds annually to benefit a wide variety of projects at Scripps Institution of Oceanography.

Health Sciences Associates
This program recognizes the premier group of donors who give $1,000 or more annually to one or more areas within the Health Sciences.

Chancellor’s Associates Young Alumni
Chancellor's Associates Young Alumni (CAYA) are young UC San Diego alumni engaged with the university through philanthropic support at annual leadership gift levels.
